Memorial Trees
A tax-deductible donation of $300 will provide for the purchase, planting, and maintenance of a Memorial Tree in Emerson Park. Your Memorial Tree will have permanent signage, indicating in whose memory or honor the tree has been planted.
To participate, select the tree you would like and fill out the information required on the Memorial brochure. Send the form and check to the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin, 1501 Clark St., Stevens Point, WI 54481.
Or pay online at the Community Foundation Donation Page. Specify “Living Trees Memorial Fund” in the field titled “Name of Fund” and mail form to the address above.
Memorial Benches
The Celebration Memorial Bench Program began in 2020 by the Stevens Point Parks Department, as an opportunity to honor a family, person, or event with a public park bench. A $5,000 donation will fund the purchase and installation of a bench with a commemorative plaque, a concrete slab, and 10-year warranty.
To participate, fill out the information required on the Memorial brochure, specifying Emerson Park as your requested park location. Send form & check to Parks, Recreation & Forestry Dept., 2442 Sims Ave., Stevens Point, WI 54481.
